In addition to plenty of production space, we have a cozy consultation room where we can sit down and plan the details of your wedding. True Florette offers artistic flowers for your celebration, event rentals, and table styling in Rockland County, Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley, New York. Can’t wait to see you! March with the Chapel Designers

I’m so excited for March! I have been working quietly behind the scenes getting ready for a very big announcement for True Florette. Get ready 2013 brides, wonderful things await you!

March is also the most awesome month for True Florette on a professional level. I will once again be joining the Chapel Designers Conference in New York City founded by floral design industry leader Holly Chapple. We’ll be studying with the best designers and social media experts in the wedding industry including Ariella Chezar, David Beahm, and Karen Tran. Chic and stylish bride’s everywhere are familiar with Abby Larson, founder and editor of Style Me Pretty…yes, she’ll be there too! I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful learning and networking opportunity~thank you Holly Chapple.

Welcome 2013 brides! Look at the amazing roses on display at my favorite annual rose show in New York City. The collection included at least 300 varieties of fluffy garden roses, traditional, limited edition and new rose varieties in every imaginable color and shade. I can’t wait to put some of these beauties in your bouquet!

Party at Martha’s House

Pretty fabulous for a Monday night- True Florette was invited to the Martha Stewart Weddings annual Bridal Fashion Week Party. My guest and I dashed through the rainy NYC night to arrive at the chic and sophisticated party to celebrate with the top wedding and event professionals in the industry. Included on the guest list were Preston Bailey, Colin Cowie, Sylvia Weinstock, Ron Ben Israel, Marcy Blum, Randy Fenoli, David Stark and Matthew Robbins. Martha herself performed a wedding ceremony! Here’s a small glimpse into the evening…

NYC Blogger Bash

Check out these fun images from The NYC Blogger Bash, where some of the most talented NYC area bloggers mixed and mingled over brunch. Hosted by Rebecca Beach of A Daily Something and Michelle Edgemont, the look was industrial French-chic cafe! All the arrangements by True Florette were designed purely with green foliage mixing passionvine, maidenhair fern, mini pomegranates, mint, jasmine, fruiting almond, and dogwood. The hanging floral installation was created with copper tubing strung with garlands of olive leaf and test tubes filled with delicate scabiosa flowers. I wish you could’ve seen the wind billowing through the soft white curtains during the installation. With the city view down below- it was a dreamy picture perfect moment!

Spring Green and Pewter Wedding

Here’s a quick peek at a fresh color palette for a mid-September wedding. The bride chose shades of spring green and white, with pewter accents to compliment the cool electric blue bridesmaids dresses. Below are the boutonnieres we designed for the guys- the silver brunia adds a playful twist! I can’t wait to see the pro photos…

Flowers For Her Hair

Goodbye Summer, we’ll miss dancing in the sun and wearing flowers in our hair!

Here are a few sample designs we made this Summer just for fun.

The sweet headband is adorned with spray roses and fresh blackberries.

Mmmm....yummy. Summer's best!

Next we made a head wreath fit for a goddess. The bee is the symbol of hope and is the handmaiden of the flowers. Bees collect pollen from flowers to make honey, the gold of the gods.

Where would flowers be without bees?

Meet Me at The Bride’s Cafe

Well I have to say I am really flattered and honored to be a featured floral designer on The Brides’s Cafe! Visit “the cafe” and you’ll be inspired by all of the amazing wedding artists whose work graces the pages of the café each day. While you’re visiting, you can check out my interview with Janie Medley, the talented lady behind the cafe and check out the new floral gallery. I’d also love for you to meet the beautiful Jen from Jen Lynne Photography. Jen is a renowned photographer from the midwest but relocated to the New York area last year, so rejoice New York brides!
