A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining a group of floral designers for 5 days of intense learning under the guidance of European Master Tomas de Bruyne. The group, facilitated by Hitomi Gilliam, gathered in a loft-like space in Connecticut filled with natural light. It truly was a treat and an inspiration to be among such esteemed company! Below is one of the many creations that were designed and demonstrated by Tomas de Bruyne. The table-length floral design in bamboo is an example of the beauty that is born from combining opposite textures.
